Ok, calm down! *Deep breathe*
A couple weeks ago I bought some books from ThriftBooks, like, a lot. And on Monday they finally came in! Before that I bought more than a dozen books at the thrift store in town! So, July has been a really good month for me, bookwise. Here’s all the books I’ve gotten-
The Trift Store Haul-
The Redwall series by Brian Jacques (hopefully in order)-
- Lord Brocktree
- The Legend of Luke
- The Outcast of Redwall
- Mariel of Redwall
- Pearls of Lutra
- The Long Patrol
- Rakkety Tam
- High Rhulain
and Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins.
- Inheritance by Christopher Paolini
- The Sorcerer of the North by John Flanagan
- City of Glass by Cassandra Clare
- House of Silk by Anthony Horowitz
- Crocodile Tears by Anthony Horowitz
- Scorpia Rising by Anthony Horowitz
I would have gotten The Last Guardian by Eoin Colfer, but it was too exspensive. I’ll just have to wait to complete the Artemis Fowl books. Meanwhile, Alex Rider is getting a new book in October. I also wanted to get The Lunar Chronicles, but they were way more than I could afford. As for Mockingjay, I can’t read it until I get Catching Fire.
Oh, I almost forgot! I won an ebook of The Songweaver’s Vow by Laura VanArendonk Baugh and a signed paper back copy of Elle Burton and the Reflective Portals by Peggy M. McAloon & Anneka Rogers. Elle Burton also came with a book mark. I am somewhere in chapter 8 of the ebook, and haven’t started the paper back. I have so much going on right now. Pumpkin has pink eye and I’m having trouble eating without throwing up. I’m not sick, I just have a poor diet and a weak will when it comes to food that tastes good. Plus I’m still working on The Oldest Waterpark EVER!!!, so I guess you could say I’m very busy.
And my dad ordered four more books by Raymond Feist. He basically turned fangirl and said I had to read them. Now I know how Xander feels. *Sigh* Well, I have to go get started on the dishes *cue eyeroll* (hmmm, I should probably clean the ceiling…)
