The Shuffle Book Tag

I did this post a long time ago on Lordofthetrekkies, and that was over a year ago now. (It doesn’t feel like a year!) And now has come the time to redo it.

(You like? I think I’m getting better.)

Rules

  1. Thank the person who nominated you, and provide a link to their post.
  2. Shuffle your itunes library, google play music library, or whatever you’ve got.
  3. For each song that comes on, list the song and the artist, and name a book that it makes you think of, explaining why. (You can do as many or as few as you want, I’m not going to set a number. This is a low pressure tag. Whoever we are, we’s pretty laid back.)
  4. Tag however many people you want, or everyone.

I now have over 200 songs, last time it was 117.

Just Smoke by Mumford & Sons

Clockwork Angel by Cassandra Clare. Not sure why.

Unstoppable by China Anne McClain

Princess Academy by Shannon Hale. The whole book is centered around Miri while she is learning to read and write and so on. Through out the story she’s using her new-found knowledge to help the people of her village.

I Gave You All by Mumford & Sons

The Inheritance Cycle (still working on Inheritance) but specifically Eragon.

White Blank Page by Mumford & Sons

(Xander wants me to put “A book that hasn’t been written. It’s a book tag, right?”)

Ummmm, this is hard. Heartless by Marissa Meyer.

I’m Your Girl by Felicia Barton

Animorphs. (Rachel, to be more specific)

Let Him Fly by Dixie Chicks

Clockwork Angel by Cassandra Clare. (Is it ok if I use it more than once?) I know why, I just don’t want explain.

Family by TobyMac

The Guardians of Ga’hoole by Kathryn Lasky.

Below My Feet by Mumford & Sons

Either The 5th Wave by Rick Yancey or The Sword of Summer Rick Riordan.

Wasteland by Needtobreathe

I don’t know….

Fixer Upper from Frozen

I might have made up a funny thing to this in my head with Thranduil. Funny to me, at least. I don’t have one from a book though.

Reminder by Mumford & Sons

I’m going with a character again. *Gasp* Alex! You’re cheating?! Please, don’t act so surprised. I am a Slytherin, after all.

Roran Stronghammer from The Inheritance Cycle.

  1. This looks like a fun tag! I’m always thinking about certain books when I’m listening to music and making playlists for certain books. Haven’t read most of these books, but love all the Mumford & Sons. 🙂 Now I’m going to have to go and listen to “Below My Feet” in the context of The 5th wave, because I never made a connection before!
